When you’re leading a business, building a brand, or managing a career that demands your best, your energy is your greatest asset. In Princeton, we’re lucky because this town is filled with places that restore that energy. Not just spas, but also fitness spots that make you excited to show up, skincare and wellness spots that keep you content and camera-ready, and healthy food spots that nourish without slowing you down.
Here are some good fitness locations in Princeton for hard working power women
Gratitude Yoga – 86 Nassau St
The Gratitude Yoga studio has an unpretentious, grounding energy that immediately puts you at ease. The instructors are warm and attentive, and the classes are small enough that you feel personally guided, but large enough to feed off the group energy. Whether you’re in the mood for a slow, restorative flow or a more energizing practice, yoga is a great place to start.
Pure Barre Princeton – 31 Hulfish St
Pure Barre is the go-to for maximum impact in minimal time. The small, controlled movements challenge every muscle, and the upbeat instructors make the challenge a vibe. The downtown location means you can pair your class with a smoothie or coffee afterward and turn it into a mini self-care morning. Tip: you can try a free barre class if you want to try it before committing!
inMotion Fitness and Wellness – 29 Emmons Dr
This location is very popular and for a good reason. The instructors are warm and attentive and the classes range from group to personalized training. You can try Pilates, Zumba, Barre, Yoga or Body Weights. Reviews read “It’s been a month now that I am attending the class. I feel welcomed and motivated every time I enter the class. All the instructors are really good and help with correct postures and guidance in every exercise that is done.”
Rumble Boxing Princeton – 301 N. Harrison St
Some weeks, you need quiet. Other weeks, you need to punch something. Rumble Boxing is pure stress relief, with dim lights, loud music, and an encouraging coach pushing you to go out of your comfort zone. Boxing is challenging, fun, and empowering. Go from feeling frazzled to feeling unstoppable, and ready to tackle whatever’s next on your plate.

Alchemy Mind & Body – 4451 NJ-27
Alchemy is where beauty meets healing. Their herbal wraps, therapeutic massages, and energy work create a sense of deep renewal and the kind of tranquil atmosphere that makes you feel balanced inside and out. Tip: bring your journal and spend an extra 20 minutes in their garden afterward, jotting down whatever inspiration bubbles up.
Fun note, most of the photos on their website were taken by me! I partnered with the owner years back and have done photos of the business and branding for the owner. It’s also the location where I started my studio work. When I started getting into using strobes and learning studio lighting, I needed a place to start taking clients who wanted a studio look. Alchemy’s owner was kind enough to allow me to use one of their rooms when they were closed on Mondays and this is where I got started with headshot clients who wanted a studio look. The experience gave me the confidence to go out and rent my first studio space. As far as their services, I’ve tried many – massages, facial, garden pass. Their garden pass is fantastic and gives you access to the outdoor sauna and hot tubs. It’s perfect for a unique girls day or a self-care day. They also offer a unique massage service called Ashiatsu where the massage therapist uses overhead bars for support while using their body weight to give you a deep tissue massage. Just being in the building is a treat as it’s an old historic building with such a relaxing ambiance!
Tranquility Den Massage – 3535 US-1
Their “Den Retreat” package combines a massage with guided relaxation meant to leave you with the feeling like you just came back from a week-long vacation. Enjoy their quiet, unhurried atmosphere paired with a massage. Very popular spot.
Metropolis Salon and Spa – 301 N Harrison St
Metropolis is a five star Salon and Spa with over 700 reviews on Google! It’s where I’ve gone for years for cut, color, massage, and facials. They also have a med spa inside. They have a new offering called the rainforest retreat head spa, which I haven’t tried yet, but sounds amazing. I hope you get to try it soon!
Food and healthy eats recommendations in Princeton
Arlee’s Raw Blends – 246 Nassau St
Arlee’s is the go when you want to feel instantly lighter and more energized. Their cold-pressed juices and smoothies are fresh, vibrant, and packed with nutrients, and their plant-based meals are both satisfying and beautiful. It’s the kind of place where you can grab something quick between meetings and know you’re fueling your body well.
Jammin’ Crepes – 20 Nassau St
This isn’t your average crepe shop. Jammin’ Crepes uses locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create sweet and savory options that taste like comfort food but feel nourishing. Grab a veggie-packed crepe here on market days as a little personal ritual when you want a lunch that’s equal parts delicious and wholesome.
Mediterra – 29 Hulfish St
Mediterranean flavors, fresh ingredients, and an atmosphere that feels both upscale and relaxed. Their menu is perfect for a power lunch that won’t leave you sluggish for the rest of the day. Try the grilled fish with vegetables!
Blue Point Grill – 258 Nassau St
For fresh, simply prepared seafood, Blue Point Grill is unmatched. The portions are generous, the ingredients are healthy, and it’s the perfect place to take a client or colleague when you want a healthy meal that still feels like a treat.
Olives – 22 Witherspoon St
It’s one of my very favorite places in Princeton. Sooooo good! It’s a deli and has prepared foods that can’t be beat. Great place for lunch. The workers are so friendly. Limited seating inside, a few tables with umbrellas out front, but you can also take the food to go and walk a block to Hinds Plaza where there’s plenty of outdoor seating and you can people watch and occasionally enjoy live music.
Wellness is not just self-care luxury, it’s a strategy for success.
Wellness is not a luxury for Princeton’s power women, it is a leadership strategy. When you’re steering a company, launching your next big idea, or showing up for a team that counts on you, the energy you bring shapes everything.
The next time you find yourself running on empty, pick one from this list. Block it in your calendar the same way you’d block a client meeting.
